eagaVIN® is Eagley Plastics’ branded range of rigid PVC compounds, manufactured for use across plastic extrusion and injection moulding sectors. The range has been developed to cover the full spectrum of rigid PVC processing requirements, from standard general-purpose extrusion grades through to technically specified compounds for demanding end-use applications.
The trademark registration reflects Eagley Plastics’ commitment to the range as a defined, long-term product offering, giving plastics processors and specifiers confidence in the continuity and traceability of the compounds they purchase.
The eagaVIN® extrusion grades are formulated for a wide range of rigid PVC profile extrusion and pipe extrusion applications common in the construction and building products sector. These include general-purpose extrusion profiles, uPVC window and door systems, electrical conduit and cable management trunking, rigid PVC pipe, flat sheet, and furniture edging strip.
Skin and Capstock grades extend the range into multilayer extrusion, supporting roofing sheet products and multilayer pipe systems where co-extrusion processing is used.
Alongside the extrusion range, eagaVIN® injection moulding compounds are used across a range of rigid PVC building products, including trunking and conduit accessories, pipe fittings, connectors, and bottles. These grades can have their formulation optimised to improve performance such as vicat softening temperature and lower viscosity for easy-flow grades.
A key capability within the eagaVIN® range is compound customisation. All grades can be produced to specific colour requirements or crystal tint finishes, tailored to precise specific gravity (SG) targets, and enhanced with functional additive packages. Available additive options include impact modifiers, fire retardant additives, anti-fungal treatments, and other performance modifications relevant to the end application.
For plastics processors needing a rigid PVC compound specified to their exact requirements, eagaVIN® is designed to be the starting point for that conversation. This level of compound flexibility is particularly relevant for plastic profile extruders and injection moulders working in regulated sectors such as construction, electrical installation, and building services, where specific fire performance ratings or mechanical properties may be required by BS or EN standards.
If you’re sourcing rigid PVC compounds for extrusion or injection moulding, Eagley Plastics can discuss your technical requirements directly. Custom colours, SG targets, and additive packages are all available within the eagaVIN® range.
